Mysterious F to C temp conversion

Anyone seen anything like this?:
All on its own, the thermostat (Airxcel) in my 2017 View 24G has started displaying temperature in degrees Celsius! And I don't know how to change it back to Fahrenheit. The manual provided in the supplemental manuals binder describes a different unit. (See photos; I pasted a little cheat sheet next to the thermostat.)

There should be a way to get into the setup feature of the tstat. Usually have to hold all three buttons down at once to get into it, the sequence varies between different brands.

Google your thermostat brand and model followed by the words instruction manual. There may even be a YouTube vidio.

found this online-- if it fits!

How do I change my thermostat from Celsius to Fahrenheit on Airxcel?
UP – Wake thermostat and increase temperature DOWN – Wake thermostat and decrease temperature MODE – Wake thermostat, change mode Note: Hold mode button down for 5 seconds. The thermostat will change from fahrenheit to celsius or celsius to fahrenheit.May 3, 2018

Thanks everybody -- mystery solved.
The answer was to press and hold the MODE button for 5 s. (Grandkids must have changed it.) And, yes, the real answer was to locate the manual online (RTFM from my army training). There it is, buried in a footnote: "Hold mode button down for 5 seconds. The thermostat will change from fahrenheit to celsius or celsius to fahrenheit. The backlight will turn off after five seconds."

Sounds like a winner! I now have to call the grandson to fix things!!! They get better as they age but it was lots more fun when I could still show them things.....

It’s perfect in Celcius! Why change it in Farenheit. (LOL!)

Well said Allaire67!!!!

I don't really get Fahrenheit anymore. I do know that 40 degrees F is cold outside and 80 DF is really hot, Been too many years...

Converting DegC to F is easy. Double the degC and then subtract 10%. Add 32. done!

100 DegC x 2 = 200, 200 - 10% = 180, add 32: 212F

It's much easier to do things in your head when it involves 10%.

Take the reverse of Barry's post and it will come out close in Deg C

temp-32, add 10% and divide by 2 to get C temp.

Easy to remember 28C = 82F

Take a look at the EasyTouch_RV thermostat upgrade for your RV. It provides munch more control over your HVAC systems and control from Bluetooth and WiFi.

It’s been one of the best upgrades I’ve made. This link will direct you to the thermostat for your RV:
