Sleeper Sofa Removal - 2004 Suncruiser 33V

Hello, I am removing my old sleeper sofa in my 2004 Itasca Suncruiser 33V. I have the HWH flat floor slide out. I am wondering if the screws that hold down the sofa go all the way through the floor of the slide. I am not worried about the seat belts because I am leaving those in place. Just wondering about the 8 lag screws on each side of the sofa that secure it to the floor. Any helpful hints are appreciated. I am replacing it with a 67in RecPro double recliner.

Thanks,
Dave

Armydave, Hope the sofa removal is going well.
On my 05 Winnebago Sighteer 34A the Lag bolts went all the way thru. I cut off the ones closest to the inside and filled the holes with foam and sealant. I left the ones closest to the outside and they are hidden by the double recliner. Covered the slides and floor with sold core vinyl plank.

Interesting. Don't go through on my '04 Adventurer. Same for the dinette. Maybe it depends on the slide style? the flat floor ones were only on a few models for a few years.

I wonder if the parts catalogs show what is supposed to be there? I'll have to look mine up...

Yeah mine is not a flat floor. It actually has carriage bolts (not lag) that are installed from underneath. That’s why I had to cut off the ones closest to the inside.
