Broken recline in passenger's seat

Hi,

My 14 year old son broke the recline on the passenger captain's seat in our 2017 Vista 29VE. Unfortunately the recline mechanism is a welded attachment to the frame on these seats. Not a great design. The fabric on the chair is fine so I ordered a replacement frame from Lichtsinn. The part was $250 and the shipping $200! I tried to see if I could swap out the broken frame for the new one myself but quickly realized its going to take a professional upholsterer. So far one guy wants $850 to take the old frame out and put my new one in and then attach all the foam and fabric appropriately. I think thats a bit high but what do I know? I know, at $1300 I could have just bought a pair of nice new seats.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Bob
