27N Awning lights in the wrong place.

I have a 2018 Winnebago Vista 27N. This unit has a large slidout on the passenger side that is maybe 16 feet long. The awning is 19 feet long. They installed the LED awning lights right next to the coach making 16 feet of lights useless and unable to be seen as they are hidden by the slide out topper. Has anyone moved them to outermost part of the awning. What might be involved and is it worth the hassle? I have no idea how they are attached.
