Connex Camera Switch 2016 Journey 40R

I purchased this motor home in March of 2021 and the camera switch was changed out due to intermittent video from the rear camera. The other 2 cameras were fine. Now it has got to the stage of not working at all on the rear camera only.


If I touch the 6 pin input cable for the rear camera at the Connex switch box Model CVS325-01 I can get the video to come up. I have used electronic contact cleaner and this makes no improvement. My eyesight and equipment I have to hand does not give me a good view of the solder joints to check for cracks. Being a new board which did work for the first year I'm not sure that would be the problem.


Has anybody encountered a similar problem and can give me any advice of how to proceed?

Seems you figured this out. Yes? You say you have a 2016 Journey and your signature agrees with that.
