2001 Adventurer 35U sound system

I have a 2001 Adventurer 35U that the sound system has gone on the fritz. I have no sound coming from the stereo deck to the deluxe surround sound system and the TV was upgraded by the previous owner and is not hooked into the system any longer. I've been looking for the amp (15W?) I have read about, but can't find it. The wiring diagram says it's in the front overhead, but I can't find it.

Any help on where this amp would be located or a pic of it would really help...

Thanks!
Chad O.

Do you have a TV/Radio switch?

Do you have a Engine/House Switch?

Are they both in the correct position?

Can you post a picture of this panel or does it look like this one below?

I don't know if the previous owner changed mine or not, but look in the passenger footwell.

If it's not there, can you point me to the wiring diagram that shows it in the overhead?

Thanks for the input everyone!!!

Yes, there is both a TV/Radio switch and House/Engine switch. They are both in the correct position and I've tried every combination possible.

Last year, the old deck started blowing fuses, so I replaced it and it worked fine. The speakers then started cutting out at high volumes and eventually quit working. I checked all the speakers by hooking them up to another system and they all work. I also verified the deck works by putting it in another vehicle.

I found the amplifier under the passenger side dash. I only needed to remove the air vent panel in front of the passenger to get to it. It was burning hot for not doing anything (I had the coach running with AC while I was working).

Now, I've seen a couple posts that say the amp does not run power to the speakers while in radio mode. However, the radio will play through all speakers in the surround sound 5.1. I've also been looking online for a replacement mobile 5.1 surround sound amplifier but can't seem to locate one...
