Picture Frame Removal

How are the picture frames attached? How do you remove them from the wall? I have one frame that is cracked and I need to remove so I can repair.

I can't be sure about your specific unit but, in my experience, framed mirrors and the like are attached with double-sided foam tape of some sort.

The easiest and safest way I've found is to take a strong, relatively fine wire that you can slip behind the frame and saw it back and forth. I use old guitar strings. Once the frame is removed, the remnants of the foam tape usually will rub off.

This will also work with some mastics and won't damage your wall.

On my 2017 Adventurer the pictures are hung from a center mounted inverted hanger with a double sided tape at the bottom corners.

To remove I carefully pull on the bottom of the picture to release the tape from the back of the picture - they are paper backed so you can pull it away from the wall to pull the double-sided tape from the back of the picture. Then just lift the picture up to unhook the hanger.
