Okay, with the info on which models, I see there are eight different setups , depending on what options your Rv had. things like how many TV, outside or not and such all change the drawing, but this is the drawing showing what to expect on the one with your options.

All of them have one item in common. There is a blue tape on the coax from the last splitter to the antanna, so if you find the last splitter, looking for the blue tape maker on the coax will ID that you have found that end of the correct coax!

Can't be of much more help without actually looking at what is there, to compare with what the drawings show. However, I might think the end of the coax was just pushed back into the hole and might require fishing it out to reuse it. Just guessing what they might have done but sounds what I would have done with the end.
