2017 Vista 29VE Compartment Door Replacement

Hi All
Have a 2017 winnebago vista 29ve. My compartment (bay) door on driver's side is damaged. Specifically the large compartment door just behind the propane access compartment door. Does anyone know where you can buy aftermarket parts? Are there junk yard parts for rv's? New one is very expensive.

There are a few motorhome salvage yards. The chance of getting your door is so very slim to almost nonexistent.

In almost all items like this repair from a Body Shop is your best bet by far.

Ty for your reply. Door flew open while driving and it's torqued. Trying to heat it in torqued area, pinch it with wood on each side and clamp with C clamps. Slow process making a little headway.

I managed to turn short & crushed one of my cargo doors. It's a 2007 Sightseer & was
able to order one from Winnebago. It comes unpainted & no latches. Cost was about
$625 shipped to me. Local RV shop is going to match the paint & install for me. You might check with Winnebago & get a full parts list for yours which will show the part #
that you need for that door. Good luck....

Just out of curiosity, how did it get damaged that bad? Doesn't it open from the rear? I figured it opening while driving would be relatively harmless.

I just bought the same year/model and am wondering if I should have a new fear on my maiden voyage.

My doors lift up from the bottom. Sometimes difficult to access when the slides are out. I have had one come open while driving but luckily, no damage. This one was just stupidity pulling out of the storage building that I've done for 10 years.....

Bay door damage

Ty for your responses. I was in touch with Litchins to replace door. $645, painted. Ours is not Cleacoated, just colored gel coat. Anyways, was looking for cheaper option. To answer how it got so damaged. I'm clueless. It looks like it bowed out from the middle. Both top and bottom and also looks torqued. We evidently didn't have door shut good and locked.
Update!! By using heat gun and clamping with boards on either side, we have managed to get it straightened out enough where we can shut and lock it. OH HAPPY DAY!!. Still going to tweak it more to get it back to water tight.

Sorry you're going through this. You're making me think I should buy this guy's door safeties.

Ooh, those look good. Such a simple solution! I may try them on my Forza.
