Same here about the Slide PTSD.
Drivers slide repaired three times and counting.
Get nervous every time. That is why we are going to down size.
To what not sure.

Winnebago supposedly allows 6 hours for installation.
This one was 20 hours +! They worked late last eve,Friday.
Put a extra man on it middle,of the day...

I don't believe the " Type" of lube is the problem. It is the design!!, I have lubed religiously. With silicone. We were fortunate. Went 2.5 years and just under 30,000 miles before we had a problem....
