Well I learned something new from this thread.

I discovered I have a strainer on my Shurflo pump and it is the old style so I can just unscrew it, clean the screen and screw it back on.

Interesting post.

I've had seven RV's and didn't know there was a strainer on the water pump.

Have to check mine out tomorrow and see if it has a strainer.
