The gen. is an Onan 5500 gas Marquis gold. House batts are fully charged and not low on water. I think the auto-switch over or inverter may be screwed up.

Need help!!! Tried to run gen. for its monthly exercise and a strange thing happened. All power went out as the generator tried to start... after releasing the start button, things came back on....
