I ordered 2 - 50' 2" rolls. Cleaned the top edge...

I ordered 2 - 50' 2" rolls. Cleaned the top edge with brake cleaner and an alcohol final rub. Tested a small strip on the cleaned area and it did not stick?? I thought this stuff stuck to anything...
