I think the shore sense is not used to turn off...

I think the shore sense is not used to turn off genset. But rather not start genset when in auto mode. When in auto mode, it will not start unless there is absence of shore power.

According to my manual, there is a 10 min minimum run time. If the HVAC calls for a 2nd run during this 10 min, the system will add more time to the counter.
