You might be steps ahead just replacing the power supply yourself and avoid using the shop. Assuming you mean an RV repair shop, I wonder if they just jerk out the 4X4 and replace it and never touch...

I've read here it can be as simple as the power supply failing. They can be purchased direct, and I think they actually will send you one free.
