My Powergear full wall slide still working well with no problems, no noticeable wear. Does worry me to hear this, please keep us posted.

Same as 2016, it's a powergear, mine has had no problems. The rack gears seem pretty thin but unlike the schwinteck they only connect to the slide at the ends and are held against the pinion gear.

I have the power gear on my full wall slide, so far works great. Has skinnier looking rack gears that are only attached to the ends of the slide so the racks can be pushed against the pinion drive.

I just took these pics of my full wall Powergear slide from the inside with slide retracted for comparision. You can see the track is somewhat flexible and ends up nearly 3/4" away from the slide...

I have that power gear system on my 2016 31be full wall slide. Looks flimsy but seems to have no trouble moving the 25ft long slide. Think it mates with the drive gears better than the schwintek...
