This is the little 1.25" long torpedo-shaped bulb as used in the floor night lights.

I have looked in CW, auto stores, Wally World with no luck. WW had a larger version but not the little guy.

Have you checked Lowes or Home Depot in the outdoor lighting section. They usually have a selection of low voltage bulbs.

These floor lights arer manufactured by a company mainly active in the marine industry and the same light is used in many boats. Try one of the marine supply chain stores.

Would an LED work for you? Permanent replacement.

The fly in the ointment is that these aisle lights are recessed somewhat. I'd have to make a cover plate and since I don't have my wood shop anymore I'll have to pass on this one.

Rich - good idea. I'll try West or Boater's Supply. If that doesn't work, I'll have to get it from Winnie.

Off topic a little: I have to give Winnie designers kudos for the most excellent lighting in the coach. Everywhere I would want light, there it is! Same thing with 110V, 12V and phone outlets. The only thing I want to change with the lights is to add a 12v dimmer for the reading lamps over the bed - they are too bright for me.

Thanks everybody for the responses and Merry Christmas.

You may want to try a lower wattage bulb for the boudoir.

John,

If you look in your West Marine catalog, page 679, you'll see some really nice recessed LED lights that are probably exact replacements, and you can get them in white, amber, green, or red.

No thanks. The bulbs are a buck and a half each. I've used one in 3 years and have 3 courtesy lights in my coach.

I bought these original bulbs at Lazy Days parts department. They were less than $2 each. Cheap enough that I bought a couple spares.

Lazy Days parts are much cheaper than Camping World next door.

I'll drag up tihs old thread...

Got a burned out aisle light.

I might be at Winnebago next week, but if I'm not, I've been trying a little digging.

So far I've found the manufacturer:
ITC

They list a 3 watt complete fixture, but don't show just the bulb. (And mine is a 4 watt)

And that TopBulb calls the base "festoon" style. They have a 3 watt bulb:
3 watt bulb

I'll keep digging...
