Water Line Noise (not the pump)
My 2008 Voyage has just started having water line noise any time I flush the toilet or open a faucet on the sinks. The noise only lasts for a couple of seconds and sounds like the pump kicking on but I have the pump turned off and have checked to make sure it is not kicking on when it shouldn't. I am connected to city water and there is no indication of leaks. Any ideas?

Air in your water lines sounds like the most plausible cause.

It is also possible it could be a check valve vibrating. I have two on my hot water tank, the first set made noise, and were replaced in the first year. The replacements started making noise after about 14 more months. I got replacements but figured I wouldn't put them in until one quit flowing. That was 5 years ago. they still make noise, but everything seems to work properly.

It was the check valves on the hot water heater that were vibrating.

Does anyone know if the Hot Water Heater check valve causes the vibration noise even when running only cold water? Are there any other check valves on the cold side that could be causing a noisy pump / water line?

Depending on the type of noise, consider if it might be "water hammer"! If not familiar, that can be caused when water starts or stops and the pressure inside causes the tubing or pipes to move and bang into something nearby. There are little gizmos to stop the hammer but it is often just as easy to find where the pipe is moving and clamp or wedge it so it doesn't make noise.

We get a little noise at the hot water tank check valves when running partial hot/cold water mix, don't know about just cold water.
Some plumbing setups do have a little tank to cushion water hammer when running the pump, you might check to see if you have one.

Sounds like I may have Water Hammer. I will research options.
