I have an Itasca Meridian, which is the companion coach with the Winnebago Journey, both which are made by Winnebago. Right next to where you attach the water hose to fill the tank should be a valve that says something like "water tank fill valve". Then the valve has two positions, "fill" and "normal". Be sure it is pointing to "normal". When you are filling the water tank you position the valve to "fill" but have to turn it back to "normal" whether using out of the tank with the pump or using city water with the water hose hooked up.

Have you or someone in your party recently been in that water compartment to fill the tank or hook up a water hose to an outside faucet. Or maybe moved that "fill" valve unintentionally?

Good luck.

I had to laugh at myself. I had drained the tanks because of a cold snap we had. I forgot to put the lever (joystick) back to the normal position. I turned the pump on after filling and it ran and ran and ran, then I remembered my mistake. Closed the valve to normal and all worked well.
