What is this for?

This has been kicking around in the back of a drawer in our 2014 Sightseer 33C since we bought it in 2013. What is it for? There is no info printed on it other than to say it was made in China. There's no info in any of the owners manuals.

It does nothing for any of the tv's nor the inside Jensen audio system. It does cause the little light under the dinette to flash when I press the buttons. (Another question - what is the light connected to/from?).

It does cause things to happen on the outside Jensen unit - the "+" causes the Jensen to 'mute', some of the other buttons cause the Jensen to scroll thru some of it's functions but in no recognizable way.

HELP - what is it for?

That, my friend, is the remote control for a MobileVision rear and side view camera system. We have one just like it for our MobileVision.

Are you referring to the blue light that flashes when the remote is pressed? That's an IR receiver for controlling the dinette TV. I believe it will flash when it receives any type of IR signal from any remote, at least mine does.

Most rc units blink a code with infrared light. It's possible that the gadget under the dinette recognizes a code or partial code from the unit.
