My Vista has the Norcold 8XX refrigerator with the doors with the wood inserts.
The wood insert adds quite a bit of weight to the refrigerator section door. The OEM situation is that the steel pivot pins go into the plastic door frame in the very outside corners. I saw a post recently saying their door FELL OFF suddenly, the plastic in the corner where the pivot hole is just broke away.
The Norcold position was that the door failed due to being overloaded , and the Norcold fix is that the whole entire door had to be replaced at a cost of around $ 100 or more .
Apparently this is enough of a problem that Norcold created metal reinforcements that can be user installed in 30 minutes that cost $ 24 on Amazon. I bought them and installed them today , it's easy and only tool needed is a straight blade screwdriver.
