Do I have an inverter?
Hi, we just bought our first Motor home, a 35' Winnebago Adventurer. It is in very good shape, has 64,000 miles, two slides' paint job in 2010 and has been refurbished with a new ceramic floor. I was looking for the inverter which I was told it had but I'm not to sure about that as I cannot find one. Does anyone out there know if this model has one............Thanks JKA

what year, model?

my Moho came with a 300w inverter in the overhead comp to the right of the TV. it is used for both TV's and entertainment only. it is undersized. I upgraded to 400w, barely adequate.

Here's the location of the inverter "If equipped" from the 2010 Adventurer operators manual:
ELECTRICAL INVERTER
600-Watt DC-to-AC
–If Equipped
The inverter changes 12-volt DC current into
120-volt AC current to operate your TV and
DVD player from the house batteries when
shoreline hookup or generator power are not
available.* In some models, the inverter is also
connected to the 120-Volt AC outlet in the cab
area and the bedroom TV outlet.
The inverter is typically located near the
systems monitor panel or on the lower face of the
galley cabinet.
Here's a link to the operators manual:

JK adventure, If it is a factory install it is high on the left wall of the compartment just the left of the entrance steps.

It would help if you stated year and model. It isn't a 2010 as you stated it was repainted in 2010. If stock inverter, it is probably in compartment above passenger seat, if after market, probably in compartment next to steps with short 12 volt run of heavier cable to batteries.

Hi JK Adventure, It makes a difference in the help you can get from this site if you don't have the year and model on your signature, I made that mistake myself. Our inverter is in the cabinet on the left side of the TV above the passenger seat.
Have a great time with your new to you rig.:welcome:

Thanks to everyone who welcomed us and for the info on the inverter. I was wondering if anyone has a line on salvage parts, specifically a valance door which is the door that covers the generator in back. 35' 2000 adventurer. Any help would be appreciated. Once again thank you for welcoming us.

Our 2000 Suncruiser ( same as Adventurer) has the inverter on right side cabinet beside front tv.
