110 VAC Failure- need help
Plugged a hair dryer into a front 110 V outlet- it ran about 5 seconds & quit. Unfortunately all the outlets are dead as is the refrig, microwave, and engine block heater. The heat pump, hot water heater and the batt charger still work. Very strange.
No tripped circuit breakers.
Any thoughts?

A tripped GFI plug, if you don't know where they are you need to start looking.

Is the outlet you plugged into a GFCI outlet? If it is....look around your coach, maybe the kitchen or bathroom for normal outlet plug, but has two little buttons in the middle. The buttons may be labeled test....and reset. If that is the case, unplug your hair dryer, then push the little reset button.

1. Could be a GFCI trip. They often control multiple circuits via one outlet. Based on the number of circuits you describe as out, however, it is not too likely because of the total ampacity of the combined loads.
2. Could be one leg of your 50amp two leg supply. Pedestal breaker or wiring, transfer switch, or main inside breaker would be places to test for power loss. Start by switching all breakers off then back on. Sometimes this clears a fault.

05Journey, if you have the inverter option check the beaker on the inverter.

I had somethign weird like this too, here's what I did...
First, open a beer.
Next, power up your inverter.
THen, have a big drink of beer.
Now, go reset your gfi, probably over your bath vanity. My gfi took out all other outlets and would not reset without the inverter powered up. The inverter provides power to reset the gfi. Who knew?? Not me....
Fianlly, watch football in the rv and drink beer the rest of the day, but look dirty and sweaty when the wife asks what you did all day. She'll feel so glad to have you around. As my hero, Red Green used to say, "If she don't find you handsome, she should at least find you handy."

...oh, and don't forget to turn off your inverter. You don't need it once the gfi is reset.

I'm going to bet you popped a breaker on the inverter/charger as I think most of the receptacles on your coach pass through it. The breakers on the inverter/charger are usually small (about 5/16" diameter) buttons on the outside case of the unit. You may have to find them using a Braille technique.
