Norcold and red light

I too have had problems, yes I've bypassed the contoller and also had to have it reset 2 times. I thought I read on this thread that it can only be reset 3 times, is this correct?
If So I better be scheduling an appointment.
I'm carring the magnet with me at all times now.
Thanks, Ernie

Angry Black box for Norcold recall

I'm trying to get the black box now as the next owner of a 2003 Winnebago Brave 34D. Since the recall happened 10 years ago I'm having a heck of a time getting even dealers to know what I'm talking about. This should still be free to me even though I'm the new owner! Dealers are having trouble finding the part ...
Any suggestions?

on ours the small wires are red and yellow they plug into the black box some where between the 12v in and the 12v out look closley at the board if the wires unhooked that will trip the breaker you can reset it with a strong magnet, if you open the black box you will see the switch magnet will reset it iv'e had to do it a few times Good luck
