On a trip, need help
I need help. I am on a trip and my slide out will not move. It was working fine . I put it in yesterday and last night it would not move. It doesn't make a sound and does not move. The only fuse I can find is a 30amp between the front seats. Any ideas or suggestions, could I have put it in too far?

Does the parking brake need to be on? Jacks need to be down? Ignition key on or off? All these things might make it not work. As you said, maybe a fuse somewhere. I bet it turns out to be simple.

On our Sightseer (03) it was a part called an actuator that had gone bad. We had two cranks that we had to use in sync to bring in the slide. Bye the way there is a Winnebago chat forum I believe at 9pm tonight. May want to jump in to the conversation for additional help.

get a test light or a volt/ohm meter and pop the switch out and see if you have power in and out of it,if so then you probably have a bad motor or a bad connection somewhere. Good Luck!

Happened on our 06 Surf Side and it was the switch itself that was bad. Just one more thing to check.

You don't say what coach or which slide, but I suggest you try turning "OFF" the chassis and coach battery switches, if you have them, and then waiting 30 seconds before returning them to "ON"; that is what I have to do when one of my slides won't work. When they won't move, I also have a red light blinking next to the slide out controls in the "one place" panel.

We've all done that at least once, scary until you figure it out then you feel really silly and relieved. Thought my awning was broken until I realized the door had a switch on it that turns off the electirc awning, had to thank a wind gust for helping me figure out that one.

Glad it was simple. Are you sure some Air Bus dude did not get into your rig?
Smooth sailing from here...
