Do we really need a braking system in our toads?

There is always risk. Most risk to those that needed that 50 ft and did not equip, so......

I do not depend on the BB, and the pressure is set just fine. I always allow more than twice the...

Do we really need a braking system in our toads?

Do we really need a braking system in our toads?

I agree!
I did not strike a child because of aux brakes. I stopped just in time. Without aux, well, I dont want to think about it!
The vast majority of us have aux. It is basic physics for the...

If not,...

Do we really need a braking system in our toads?

If it just a matter of choice, my choice was very simple. I like stopping in much less distance. There was no speculation, rumor, half truth, or advertising hype involved.

I dont have all of the answers.
I only know I stopped much sooner and the child was not struck, nor injured, nor killed.
There was nothing for me to rationalize.
Some simply prefer and accept...

Do we really need a braking system in our toads?

My BrakeBuddy is a gorilla. If it had vac assist (engine running) it would lock up the brakes real hard.
In panic stops it stops me in at least 15% less distance than I can with the MH alone. I can...

Do we really need a braking system in our toads?

Because I chose to not flaunt the laws and use aux braking, I was able to stop early enough to not strike the child and, as a bonus, did not face criminal charges. I have covered as many "what-ifs"...
