The Genie

That particular genie has been out of the bottle for a long time. I found the instructions, i.e. the magnet trick. here several months ago.

Doing it's job

Definately have it looked at by an authorized service center. If it's a bad sensor it's easily and cheaply fixed.

If it's not a bad sensor then it did it's job.

I do not recommend this but...
