So is there any way to take it out of the battery charging circuit and replace the power with a 'smart charger'? (I am guessing not)
I think it is eating my coach batteries, I have no proof though.

Quick, whereisit - converter

Where is the charger/12v convertor on a gas 1995 Vectra?
I found the transfer switch in the side, there is no convertor there.
