In my 2008 I lost two. First one ripped the rear...

In my 2008 I lost two. First one ripped the rear mudguard of and bent the bar. Second one did some slight damage to the TOAD. I did the same thing with lock washers and used Blue Locktite.

Sounds like someone did not put the lock washer...

Sounds like someone did not put the lock washer on the bolt before tightening it and it bottomed out. (Just a guess)
