Yes I did try both ways with the switch and it still didn’t work. I know my other rv didn’t need to have the pump on when the water was directly hooked up to the rv.

Okay took our old new Motorhome out and hooked up...

Okay took our old new Motorhome out and hooked up to City water and turned off pump and faucet worked like it was supposed to but then our tank overflowed. Like it wasn’t by passing the tank
