as far as the VIA goes........There is always something faster, cooler, bigger, slicker, more macho, whatever. It does what I need it to do and if properly taken care of will give years of service....

On mine, if the map light switch is on it will turn it on and off. But you have to have the map light switch in the on position or nothing happens.
