Good idea and a great inexpensive fix for the issue, as long as you don't forget to hook it up or don't mind taking the time to do it. It's not a great idea to keep it permanently connected....

Right idea but there is a newer product version with higher amperage output named Amp-L-Start and is available from the same company as Trik-L-Start (LSL Products).
