It didn't matter what side i filled from, it was a no/go. I wish they would offer some contribution to the fix. Its a clear design issue and they acknowledged it and even created a program to fix it....

As promised here are the pictures of the old tank and the new tank. Notice where the fill tubes and vents are located, on the side of the tank several inches from the top. Hopefully this will help...
