We ended up getting a Fire Stik antennae and are all set now. We were able to tune it in our driveway with the help of a tuner gadget that hubby bought.

The closest place to us that could do that is 100 miles so we were hoping to do it ourselves. He has a meter and tried tuning it but it didn't work. How do you get the antennae tuned to the cb?
