I have been to the Factory service center n Gaffney, SC. If you are headed there, I highly recommend that you take their Camp Freightliner course. Two days and very educational.

Remove it from the wall and check the replacement date on it. They only last about 5 years and there should be a sticker. No telling how long it sat at the manufacturer before it was installed.

That's 3 year shelf life and 24 month service life. Lasts longer than my car air filters. I'll just keep on changing them per the schedule. Not a defective part or bad design, just reasonable.
