Just moved up to our 2nd RV, a 2016 Sightseer 35G. Our first was a 2006 National Sea Breeze that we had for 1.5 years. This summer we took a 5000 mile trip through the Canadian Maritimes with a group of about 24 other RV's via Fantasy RV tours. It was a great trip in many ways but it was especially useful to us to be able to absorb much knowledge from the others in the group. With everything we learned, we started looking for an upgrade and wound up with the Sightseer.

I was looking in the forums to see if I could find anything about 'floor mats'. The Sea Breeze was carpeted but the Sightseer is vinyl flooring and the front is just some black rubber insulating stuff. Haven't found much except that folks just seem to use carpet remnants or office chair carpet protectors, etc. Surprised that someone hasn't picked this up as a business opportunity. Well, I may just have to make something.

Welcome and great new MH!

Our 2017 Adventurer has the black rubber “mat” or is it flooring. In front of the driver and passenger chairs. We’ve never given them a second thought.

We’ve seen other RVs with a grass cloth looking woven plastic there and it looked nice. I did see a YouTube video where a couple bought a large industrial floor mat that they cut to size and installed in their Entegra coach.

Here’s that video
