New to RV

Next Monday we pick up our new 2108DS Micro Minnie. We owned a TT for a brief period in the late 80's but don't count that as experience. We are now retired and plan to travel to various destinations throughout US and Canada. We wanted a clean, comfortable bed and functional washroom to tow behind my 1/2 ton GMC. We are delighted with our purchase and hope to learn a lot from experienced TT owners on this forum!

Welcome to the group! We bought our 2018DS last fall and we're very happy with it. We're retired and plan to use it quite a bit. We stayed in it for about 2-1/2 weeks in Florida, driving down and returning to Maine we had to stay in hotels because of cold temperatures. We had to flush out the antifreeze when we got there and then had to winterize it on the way back.

Thanks! The wait to be able to pick up our new trailer has been tough! My wife hasn't seen it yet but she spent a lot of time looking at another 2108DS at a local RV Show. We plan to try a couple of short trips over the next few weeks and then possibly travel from Vancouver Island, BC to Houston, TX in early June. We might have the opposite issue with respect to temperature!
