Smile New owner of a Travato 59K

I just purchased a 2017 Travato 59K touring coach. We have a sliding screen door on it that is not working well at all. Any suggestions? I thought about taking it off all together (it is on a metal frame) and installing a curtain but I found this group and would love any suggestions!

Try this:

It seems they custom make each one for each model B Van, and they cost $800 (!). But people seem to love them.

I also have a 2017 Travato 59k. I posted on the Class B forum about replacing the twine used on the door as mine broke. Even with constant silicone spray on old cord. Never worked right. I repaired it but never use it. You would be wise to replace with something else if you want some type of screen. Travato John

New owner/next question

Thank you for all the information you all have provided!

New questions....
2017 Winnebago Travato 59K

1) Seat covers for the driver and passenger seats? Has anyone found a good website that makes seat covers that fit well?

2) Floor mats for the front? We checked Weathertech and they have a liner you can cut and trim but not custom made mats. Any suggestions?

3) Locking gas caps? With the price of gas we are looking to lock because of siphoning....

Thanks everyone! You are all so helpful!

Travato John...

How easy was it to remove the screen unit that was on your van? We want to remove it before we receive the magnetic screen but don't want to open a can of worms prior to our trip in a week...

We had that screen on our 2018. When we upgraded to the 2020, it had the magnetic one like Mr. Creative posted. HUGE difference. I lost track of the times it came out of the track and the twine got screwed up. Our Travato came with a full width front floor mat. I’m not sure it was a RAM factory mat, or a Winnebago mat. Something tells me it was a Winnebago one.

Enjoy your new ride. We had a lot of fun with our 2. We just wanted a little more room.
