Hello 2019 View from Cape Fear area of NC

Hi

My wife & I are new to RV'ing, having just purchased a 2019 Winnie View 24V. We are taking our time becoming familiar with the coach and have plans to visit our daughter in Rapid City. Our plan is to camp in our driveway for a night to work out any issues. The next weekend we plan on going to a SC RV park and by mid-Sept be on the road to SD.

Try at least one or two nights dry camping with no power, water or waste dump. Lots of posts on these forums when a new RVer suddenly discovers the lights won’t work, the battery is dead, he doesn’t know how to fill the tanks with fresh water, etc. A night or two without hookups and you will figure out this stuff.

That was our plan and then a weekend or two at a local campground. Thanks
