Hello - 2009 View with a leak

Hi all
DaveyD here.
My wife and I own a 2009 Winnebago View.
We have a leak, somewhere, allowing water to come into the bunk compartment above the head liner. We haven’t been able to locate the exact point of entry, but we think it’s by the corners just below the rain channels.
There are also 2 covers on either side of the roof, kind of a streamline shaped thing. What are they covering and how do you remove them?
