1998 Rialta RC

I'm the 3rd owner of a Rialta RC which I have owned for 8 yrs. Interested in upgrading the coach battery system to charge primarily from the engine alternator and supplement with freestanding solar panels and posssibly removing the generac generator. Interested if anyone has made this conversion.

Not to steal thunder, however, there is a forum for Rialta owners on I/O forums. You might do a check on that site, There are some there that know everything, and I mean everything about Rialta.
If you don't get responses here check there.

Your Rialta is already set up to charge from the alternator while driving. The only change you would have to make in that regard is if you are upgrading to LifePo4 lithium batteries. Then you would need to install a DC to DC charger to keep from damaging the stock alternator. I'm in the process of upgrading my Rialta 96RD to LifePo4 right now. I realize this is an older post, just replying in case anyone comes across it again like I just did. I just joined this forum.
