Anyone Going to GNR Who Has...
I am planning on replacing the carpet in my Journey and would like to know if you are going to be at GNR and have done this if I could see what you did. I am undecided as to what type flooring to use at this time. I will be in Lower D and appreciate all feedback.

Olive,
I can't answer your question directly, but will recommend MasterTechRV in Elkhart, IN America's #1 RV Renovation, RV Paint & Full RV Service Center!. In my opinion, MasterTechRV provides the one-stop solution to any RV issue, from repairs to renovations. I've seen many examples of their work and am very satisfied with the quality of the carpet/tile installation performed in our 2008 Vectra. Carpet is high-quality residential grade and is not glued to the floor. They also install a top quality carpet pad and the carpet is stretched onto tack strips. They are also an MCD Shade dealer/installer and have a large wood workshop that produces Amish quality furniture. Web site is under revision.

X2 on MasterTech RV. They did a remodel for us a couple of years ago and we were and are completely satisfied with the quality of their work. They did the following for us:
1. Complete tile floor.
2. Residential frig.
3. Custom cherry credenza.
4. New sleeper sofa.

The type floor you want is the one you should get. I have torn out my carpet and will go with hardwood. Wife wanted tile throughout but I felt it was a bit heavy although I have seen it and it was very nice.

Thank you for the recommendations. I'm not necessarily looking for someone to do the work but would like to see completed jobs. I can't decide if I want to go with wood/wood look or tile. My question with the wood is it would seem wood with all the wood cabinetry may by overpowering in a small space. I have seen pics of many who have done this but hard for me to tell what I would like to live with everyday from pictures.

Gloria,
Where are you parked? I just arrived at Customer Service. I would love to see what you did. Not for me but for a friend that wants to do his.

Yes we replaced the carpet in this C with self stick vinyl tiles.
Did it under dinette first for trial. Than ripped out all the carpet on the floor.
We also replaced the carpet in our last MH. Adventurer 35U.
We will be in the TN. row
