Unable to reset Coach Breaker Panel switch

2013 Winnebago Navion (diesel)
Referencing the front passenger 12 volt push button panel…particularly the 55 amp switch/button

I’m having electrical issues in this recent purchase. More recently, the roof heat pump (compressor) not starting (fan does). I had it checked out and all systems are go on the unit with power to it. The tech pointed out that the panel button was popped out and unable to reset and might be the problem.

I removed the switch and tested power in and out and found that it had 12.75 volts to it (the button switch is marked 55amps) but will not reset.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
Getting warm in El Centro…

Thanks Aaron…I’m feeling much the same way. The button switch appears to be a thermal switch of some kind and I am unable to locate a12volt / 55amp replacement. I’ll keep looking but will take any other advice provided…
Thanks again

Call Lichtsinn RV. I am amazed at all the odds and ends they stock or can get their hands on.

Before blaming the circuit breaker disconnect the load side wire and then see if it resets.

Good morning Aaron…I managed to locate a 12 volt 50 amp Thermal button breaker on Amazon. It’s replacing a 55 amp but It will likely work fine. Thank you for the info on Lichtsiin…I will keep it for future reference in the event I actually need the larger amperage. Fingers crossed for a successful fix. Should know by the weekend.
Cheers
