Revel inverter

I guess I’m starting my own Revel how to section- If your inverter shuts off- turn off the batteries, solar charger and inverter switch. Turn the inverter switch back on and then power on the batteries. The solar charger being in the on position seems to not allow inverter restart.

Thanks for that tip. I hope you made some headway about folks that have the Revel joining in. The solar system seems to be a little intermittent whether working or not

I have zero experience with the Revel, but what do you mean the solar is inconsistent.

I'll take a stab at what you might be referring to. If it's something else please explain it in detail and all of us will try to help.

Don't expect the solar to be charging your batteries if they are being charged by shore power, generator or your alternator on the engine.

The solar charge controller is designed to charge your batteries when they need charging. So, when plugged in or running the engine those chargers are supplying 14+ volts to the batteries and your smart charger in the solar charge controller reads that voltage and scales back all charging because the voltage reads fully charged.
