85 Chieftain Cruise Control

Our cruse control does not work over 60mph. Does anyone know if this is a safety “feature” or if ours is just not working?

Hmmmmm. Being that your rig is that old, I'd suspect the CC is vacuum operated and that you have a vacuum leak. That leak may prevent the actuator from pulling the chain far enough to exceed 60 MPH. Even that old of a rig should let you cruise at 65 or 75. But check out the max speed shown on your speedometer. If that shows a max of 60 MPH, then perhaps...
