I didn't see the spec sheet but I saw what I believed to be a 2008 Tour. It had complete pass thru storage with no stor mor bays. The storage was caverness! Very nice, I would be afraid I would fill it all up. I saw this at Camping World in Colorado Springs, Co.

Freightliner designed a new chassis for Winnie but I don't know what models it will be used in. I think I remember reading that it is a lowered rail and I suppose the bay is above the rail? It will be interesting to see the implementation of the new chassis.

We recently toured the Travel Supreme factory in Elkhart (a diversion - we like our Horizon!!) and saw several 45 footers under construction. TS uses a Spartan chassis and the basement space was larger than my first apartment

John, It looked like the storage was all below the frame rails. Did I say lots of storage!

I looked at a new Tour and Vecta at LD last week, they each have the new FL chassis. Also increased HP with new engines

I also hear the new Tour/Ellipse will have IFS with that FL Maxxum chassis. So, with 400+HP, real pass-thru storage and IFS, will be curious to see what differentiates those from the Vectra/Horizon except more gizmos and maybe interior fu fu.

I think that the performance with the added hp will be a wash with all the new polution stuff that is now needed.

While the Tour/Ellipse is on the same chassis as the Vectra/Horizon my dealer contract tells me it still has a rigid front axle with disc brakes on the Maxum chassis just as it did before on the Evolution chassis. You have to look underneath to be sure.

Personally, I think it's a shame Winnebago labels the two coaches with the the same "brand name" chassis.
