We have a 2005 Itasca with a 4K Onan generator and I can't find an oil filter. Does this gen set not have an oil filter?? Our 1985 Pace Arrow had a 4K Onan generator and it had an oil filter.

The genset (model 4KY)in our Minnie does not have an oil filter too. However, the genset (model 5.5HGJAB) in our Sightseer does have an oil filter. If you go to the Onan website and type in the model number of your genset, you could find replacement oil/air filters, spark plugs, and other parts.
Looking at the Onan website and some other forums, I don't think you have one!
Maintenance grid only shows changing the oil. Nothing about changing a filter is mentioned anywhere.

If the engine has pressurized oil (i.e., an oil pump), you will have an oil filter. If the engine has 'splash' lubrication (no oil pump), no filter. Lots of small engines are splash lubrication.
