Greetings RudyV,
We have a few threads discussing just that problem. These two are recent and pretty good:

Used Epoxy

Hi Rudy,

Yep mine fell off a few years ago. I used JB Weld 5 minute epoxy, but you have to work fast. I think the key is the prep. I scraped all the old glue off both the bracket and front fiberglass, down to bare metal and fiberglass, to get a good bond. It's been three years and 20K miles, but so far so good. Some guys did drill holes and attach with nuts & bolts for a full proof method, but I just didn't want to do that. Good luck. Ed

2 part Automotive panel bonding adhesive> I repaired a Winne headlight bucket on my Sunstar with this. The same type of adhesive manufacturers use. Fast curing. Buy the mixing cartridge gun too. Better than OTC consumer goop from the big box stores.

I used epoxy as noted above by also added a couple stainless steel bolts with rubber fender washers.

I also did the two part automotive panel bonding adhesive. I bought the the mixer gun and extra mixer tips. May need it again. I saw on the other posts where folks mentioned getting the part down to bare metal for a better bond. I also left the original nubs from factory adhesive so I could line it up.

I used JB weld and also put a stainless steel bolt with a nylock nut thru the front cap for each bracket thru the center slot in each bracket. The bolt holds the bracket perfectly fixed while the JB Weld sets. The bolt and nut makes sure if epoxy bond ever fails again I don't lose the bracket. I think the metal bracket and the fiberglass expand and contract at different rates with temperature and I don't know if with the mis-matched materials if the epoxy bond can be made reliable.
