Most likely on a 2010 Itasca Ellipse 40 BD is the vacuum pump. It should cycle off and on though unless there is a vacuum leak in the dash.

Lots of humming/buzzing noises depending on the model and year of the coach. Diesels will have an electric vacuum pump for the in dash AC, Heat and Defrost. Rear view monitors will have a speaker...
