I was using a pair of screwdrivers but because of the !!@#$^&*()bifocals I didn't realize I was under the bottom piece.

Getting old is the pits but beats the alternative!

Yep, it's industrial strength velcro. When I pried mine loose, it came loose from the bottom of the cabinet.

I put a Velcro stretch strap in over the driver's side to hold down my Directv box...
